Benin Boyz Events presents: Independence Day & 1 Year Celebration
On August 1, head to Le 211 (La Villette) for a two-part experience: a cultural daytime program and afternoon talks, followed by a turn-up club night to celebrate Benin's independence and the first anniversary of Benin Boyz.
Part 1: Day Party (17:00–21:00) • Free entry
Open air, food, drinks, open deck and talks. Hosted by Diary (CKO).
Talks program:
1. How can we monetize and sustainably establish the African music scene in Europe? (with Fif Booska-P, Jay P, Young K)
2. Building and sustaining an Afro-descendant brand internationally (with Sergio, Karim and William, founders of Daomey, Baara, Terre d’Ombre)
3. Disrupting traditional codes to impose new narratives (with Brigitte Houssou, Ol’Kainry, Naya)
21:00–23:00: technical pause and room reset.
Part 2: Night Party (23:00–06:00) • Paid entry
Afrobeats, amapiano, shatta and hip-hop.
