On January 22, 2027, Camille presents The Sound of Milk at the Vitré Cultural Centre. A French singer and writer in her own right, she has, since the start of her career, moved between chanson, pop, folk, and vocal experimentation, with that sense of rhythm and play that marks her. From Le Fil à Ouï, through her collaborative ventures and her film music, Camille has built a very physical language, where the voice becomes as much an instrument as a character.
With The Sound of Milk, she crafts a concert that blends folk, bossa nova, moments of musical theatre, and more adventurous pop. The pieces question joy, childhood, nature, and what we keep alive when the world grows weary. Without sermonizing, she works emotion through sound, harmonies, pulsation, and this way of making hope emerge amid contemporary tensions. An evening to listen closely, let yourself be carried along, and leave with a head full of choruses and ideas.
