On October 24, 2026, WHIPPED CREAM makes her debut at Newspeak in Montreal, with her edgy blend of trap, hip-hop, and dark bass music. Behind the name is Caroline Cecil, born in Toronto and raised in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, who has sharpened a sound built on dry rhythms, thick textures, and a constant tension, often offset by hooks that are more melodic than in her early work.
Identified early on in the Canadian scene, she has released a string of records since Law of Attraction (2015), followed by Mirrors with Hekler and Persistence (2017), before expanding her output with tracks and appearances on North American labels. With the EP Who Is Whipped Cream? (2020), she pushes even further the cross between club energy and rap references, between collaborations and bold, front-facing production. More recently, she has continued to broaden her palette with Someone You Can Count On (2023) and Is This Real? (2024), confirming a sonic signature crafted for live performance, between heavy bass and building intensity.
