On 22 November 2026 at Electric Brixton in London, Converge bring their EU/UK run to the stage with the kind of intensity they’ve been sharpening since the early ’90s. Built around Jacob Bannon’s raw, cutting vocals and Kurt Ballou’s jagged guitar work, the Boston-area band has always pushed hardcore and extreme metal into tense, fractured shapes: dissonant riffs, stop-start rhythms, sudden tempo shifts, and that constant feeling of controlled collapse. From the landmark impact of Jane Doe to later records like All We Love We Leave Behind and The Dusk in Us, Converge keep their sound abrasive but precise, mixing chaos with a real sense of structure and weight.
They’re joined by Sanguisugabogg, purveyors of heavy, groove-driven death metal straight out of Columbus, Ohio. With releases like Tortured Whole and Homicidal Ecstasy, they lean into blunt riffs, guttural vocals and slam-tinged breakdowns designed for maximum physical impact. Also on the bill: Blackbraid and Pupil Slicer, rounding out a lineup that sits firmly on the sharp end of heavy music.
