On November 17, 2026, Imany will take the stage at the Théâtre de la Fleuriaye in Carquefou for a concert centered on what defines her signature: a deep, intimate voice and an unapologetic taste for spare formats. Revealed in the early 2010s with The Shape of a Broken Heart, she has built a repertoire at the crossroads of soul, folk and acoustic pop, between chiaroscuro ballads and direct writing, often in English.
Over the course of her albums, Imany has broadened her palette without losing that sense of intimacy: denser arrangements on The Wrong Kind of War, notable forays into film soundtracks, and a desire to move her songs with different textures. Her Voodoo Cello project has notably highlighted her attraction to reinterpretations and instrumental dialogue, giving full space to timbre and nuance. An encounter designed to listen closely, without fanfare, to an artist who advances through voice and interpretation.
