The Rasmus arrive in Montreal on September 9, 2026 at Studio TD, with the blend that has defined their signature since Helsinki: alternative rock at the heart of pop, riffs that bite, and dark melodies that linger. Formed in the mid-1990s, the band gradually shifted from nerve-wracking rock toward more melodic and darker writing, powered by Lauri Ylönen's voice. Songs that opened the way to an international audience, up to their more recent records, The Rasmus continue to evolve their sound, between gothic tension, band energy and electronic touches, without losing the taste for direct choruses. Saint Agnes opens the evening with its London-influenced formula, blending alt-metal, industrial, post-punk and dark pop. Led by Kitty A. Austen, the project plays on contrast: abrasive guitars, dry rhythms, nocturnal atmospheres and a groove that avoids rigid rock. Death Valley Dreams completes the bill with an indie/alternative vein tinged with synth rock. Born in Pennsylvania, the project relies on guitar textures, melancholic keyboards and intimate writing, to establish dense, nocturnal, and emotionally direct songs.
