After La Vitesse, gold-certified and buoyed by the success of 'Mon cœur', Izïa returns with a new milestone in her career. Always driven by the live experience, she extends her shift toward a writing style that is more direct and in French, without losing the rock tension that marked her beginnings.
With 'Mieux que nous', she bets on a visceral emotion and a leaner arrangement: a melody initially held by the guitar, then taken up on the piano, to let the lyrics breathe. The song tells of the flaws, the doubts, and the impulses of a fragile love story, between wounds resurfacing and the promise we cling to. A way for Izïa to seek nuance, without overacting, and to place the intimate at the center.
