Catching Cairo

Catching Cairo heads to Manchester for a live set at YES on 24 October 2026. Born and raised in North London, the singer-songwriter (long known by the stage name Tiffani Juno) has carved out a distinctive niche in the UK bass scene by delivering a dense, nervous, and intensely embodied vocal over drum & bass, jungle, and more broadly dance music productions. Since her first releases in the early 2010s and stints with labels such as Rinse, Maison Kitsuné, MTA Records, or Digital Soundboy, she has crafted a style in which emotion remains front and center, even as the tempo speeds up. She has been heard alongside Kasra, Hybrid Minds, London Elektricity, BCee, Sustance, or Mungo’s Hi Fi, with a knack for weaving club tension and melodies that cling to the skin. In her solo work, her EP Aura (2023) followed by Bruz (2025) extend this blend of alt-R&B, reggae touches, and sound-system heritage, with direct songwriting and a dancefloor energy. On stage, Catching Cairo leans into live vocals, balancing raw intensity with choruses designed to be sung back by the crowd.
