Fat Dog comes to Rough Trade East in London on October 4, 2026 for an instore live set followed by a signing, marking the release of their new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired) on Domino.
Born in London in 2020, the band first made its name the old-fashioned way: onstage, loud and fast, before the records even landed. Now a five-piece, Fat Dog sits at the crossroads of post-punk, dance-punk and in-your-face electronics, with tight synth lines, rave-leaning rhythms and sharp left turns that can flirt with klezmer, partly thanks to the presence of saxophone. After early momentum and touring slots alongside bands like Sports Team, Yard Act and Viagra Boys, they’ve kept pushing that wired, physical sound through a run of singles and into a full-length format. Expect something direct, sweaty and built for movement, even in a record-store setting.
