HENGE arrives at Chalk in Brighton, on March 19, 2027, with its signature blend of space rock, electro, and psychedelia, which they call "cosmic dross." On stage, the quartet presents itself as a band of aliens on a mission, and everything is designed as a live experience—musical as well as narrative: hypnotic keyboards, progressive and zingy guitars, a rhythm section driving in motorik mode, all carried by intergalactic lyrics and imagery.
Formed in Manchester, HENGE builds its pieces between song, repetitive trance, and experimental drift, with a pronounced taste for performance and disguise. Their records, from Attention Earth! (2018) to ExoKosm (2020), then Alpha Test 4 (2023) and Journey to Voltus B (2025), extend this cosmic journey and set the tone for a performance that flirts with ravey, rock, and sci-fi theatre, never reduced to a mere costume show.
