Dead Poet Society bring their brand of tense, riff-driven alt-rock to London on 6 February 2027 at the Electric Ballroom. Formed in Boston by four Berklee College of Music alumni, the band built its identity on a sharp mix of grunge bite, hard-rock weight and noisier textures, always anchored by tight, punchy rhythms and vocal lines that aim straight for the hook.
After a run of early EPs (Axiom, Weapons, Dempsey), they expanded their sound on the album -!- (2021), balancing abrasive guitars with clean, readable melodies and a strong sense of dynamics. Now based in Los Angeles, they kept that direct approach while opening up the arrangements on Fission (2024), leaning into contrast and tension without slipping into metal territory. Expect a live set that hits hard, stays focused, and leaves room for those sudden shifts from restraint to release, with special guests rounding out the night.
