If the general public first discovered him as the voice and keyboards of The Killers, Brandon Flowers has also built a distinct solo trajectory, more intimate, but still guided by the same craft of the chorus and synths. Between taut pop, the legacy of new wave, and bursts of American rock, he writes songs that preserve the taste of the 1980s while telling the American West, from Las Vegas to its imagined wide-open spaces.
On stage, Flowers naturally moves between post-punk tension, straightforward melodies, and keyboards that take center stage when needed. His albums Flamingo (2010) and The Desired Effect (2015) set the measure: direct writing, crisp hooks, and that blend of romance and lucidity that suits his way of singing. In 2026, with the announcement of a new album, Thrasher, this year looks like a good moment to reconnect with his universe in a live setting.
