Formed by the twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, Amistat crafts an acoustic folk sound with indie-pop inflections, built around two interlocking voices that respond to each other and tighten together. Their thing is simplicity: acoustic guitars, vocal harmonies at the fore, and songs written without detours that speak of personal bonds, movement, departures and returns.
Born in Germany, raised in Italy in a family with Czech and Australian ties, the two musicians first shaped their path in Australia before returning to settle in Europe in 2019. Active since 2012, the duo has released several EPs and gradually anchored itself on the Australian folk scene, then the European one, by touring the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. After a tour shared with Sons of the East, they followed with their own headline dates, with a steady touring pace, particularly in 2022.
Amistat will perform on November 2, 2026 at Kaufleuten in Zurich.
