Notion is headed to Calgary for a date at the Commonwealth on July 3, 2026. A DJ and producer from Bristol, he sits within the great lineage of British club culture by circulating UK garage, bassline, house and breaks in a single forward momentum. His trademark: thick bass, tempos that accelerate without warning, and a penchant for sampled or sung vocals that grab listeners instantly, straddling pop nods and rave tension.
Active since the early 2010s, Notion first grew up in bass music circuits before widening his scope toward a more upfront dance, conceived for clubs and wide-open spaces. Between original productions, remixes and a very regular DJ schedule, he has brought his selections to stages such as Glastonbury, Creamfields, and Outlook. He also develops Dance Dubs, a parallel playground for his edits and bootlegs, in line with his culture of mixing and effectiveness on the dancefloor.
