On September 13, 2026, at Freedom Mobile Arch in Vancouver, ROLE MODEL brings “Chuck On Tour” to the stage. Behind the name is Tucker Pillsbury, a songwriter who moved from early rap instincts toward a more intimate, melodic indie pop. His tracks sit in that sweet spot between bedroom-pop simplicity and alternative pop punch: clean arrangements, hooky lines, and lyrics that don’t hide the messy parts of relationships, solitude, and mental health. From the early EPs Arizona in the Summer, Oh, How Perfect and Our Little Angel to the albums Rx and Kansas Anymore, he’s been sharpening a direct, conversational style, lately leaning more acoustic with subtle folk and country touches.
Samia joins the bill with her own sharp, writing-first indie pop/rock. Raised between California and New York’s DIY scene, she delivers songs that feel like overheard thoughts: precise melodies, measured guitars, and a voice that stays close to spoken emotion. From The Baby to Honey and her latest chapter Bloodless, Samia digs into doubt, intimacy, and self-scrutiny without dressing it up, making her a natural match for ROLE MODEL’s candid pop world.
