Peter Cincotti returns to the stage with In Color, a new album recorded between New York and Paris, conceived as a playground where his pianist’s jazz meets pop, funk, and a writing style more open to collaboration. Throughout this project, he extends what has followed him since his beginnings: a taste for clean melodies, swing when needed, and a knack for a song that tells a story without overdoing it.
On stage, Cincotti naturally alternates between piano and singing, with that very direct way of letting the tracks breathe, stretching them or tightening them according to the energy of the moment. It will be an opportunity to hear live the pieces already unveiled such as Savannah, Night In Italia and Ghost of My Father, and to also revisit the songs that have marked his past twenty years.
