Info
Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats land in Montréal on October 8, 2026 at Théâtre Beanfield with a set steeped in doom-laced heavy rock and vintage psych. Formed in Cambridge by singer-guitarist Kevin Starrs, the band blends slow, saturated riffs with melodic, almost choral vocals and a taste for cult-horror atmospheres. From the scarce DIY Vol. 1 and the darker Blood Lust to Mind Control and The Night Creeper, their discography fuses late-60s garage grit, giallo hues and smoke-heavy grooves. Wasteland pushed their dystopian streak, and Nell’ Ora Blu (2024) sharpened the cinematic side of their sound with mood-driven sequences and retro textures.
On stage, these elements lock into riff-led narratives: crawling tempos that open into steady hooks, twin-guitar lines and organ-like tones, set against flickers of B-movie imagery. The dynamic sits between menace and melody, played loud and unhurried, with harmonies threading through the fuzz. North America ’26 brings that approach to Montréal, drawing across eras and focusing on tone, tension and atmosphere.
