Chicane brings a daytime set to Electric Studios in Sheffield on 7 November 2026. Under this alias, Nicholas Bracegirdle has shaped melodic electronic music since the mid-90s, blending trance, progressive house, ambient and Balearic shades. His tracks lean on wide pads, clear melodic lines and a drift tied to Ibiza and UK club culture. Offshore (1996) set the tone, followed by Saltwater with Máire Brennan (1999) and Don’t Give Up with Bryan Adams (2000). Across albums from Far from the Maddening Crowds and Behind the Sun to Giants, Nevertheless and Trampolines, he moves between instrumentals, song-led cuts and more atmospheric pieces.
