On 29 June 2026, Temples bring a stripped-back performance and signing to Rough Trade Nottingham, Nottingham. Formed in Kettering in 2012, the quartet of James Bagshaw, Tom Walmsley, Adam Smith and Sam Toms has shaped a psych-leaning sound that blends layered guitars, close harmonies and analogue-tinged keys with concise, melodic writing. This date marks the release of BLISS on V2, with arrangements pared down to the essentials to let the songs and textures breathe.
The set draws from BLISS and reaches back through Sun Structures, Volcano, Hot Motion and Exotico, reworked for an intimate setup. Their mix of psych-pop, indie rock and a touch of glam finds a different pulse in this format, trading studio density for space, groove and detail. A signing with the band follows the performance, a chance to meet the group behind a decade of evolving psych explorations.
