Johnny Jane, aka Émile, crafts an elegant, feverish pop at the crossroads of French chanson, indie rock and electronic textures. Trained at the Orléans Conservatory, this composer, performer and multi-instrumentalist draws on influences ranging from Gainsbourg to the Velvet Underground, the Strokes and King Krule.
Through long wanderings in Paris, Johnny Jane transforms his observations and moods into sensitive songs, blending poetry, melancholy and instinctive energy. A chameleon of styles, he plays with contrasts, masks and emotions to shape a modern, free and deeply felt body of work. Live concert on 6 February 2027 at 7:00 PM at Rock School Barbey.
