Acid Arab

On 12 February 2027 at l’Atabal in Biarritz, Acid Arab presents their live show. Hailing from Paris, the duo formed by Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho has, for more than a decade, explored the intersection between Western techno and the sounds of North Africa and the Middle East. Their writing blends acid lines, synthetic textures and club pulses with inherited melodic modes, traditional instruments and guest vocals. On stage, this hybrid language unfolds in extended versions, percussive interplay and machine-driven repetitive motifs, into which songs and melodies are inserted depending on the collaborations. Accustomed to working with singers and musicians from diverse backgrounds, the two producers move their repertoire between studio and dancefloor, seeking concrete bridges between electronic practices and musical heritage. A live performance that places equal emphasis on rhythmic energy and timbral work, conceived to make heritage and the present converse without hierarchy.
