Thomas Kahn

Thomas Kahn will perform in concert on October 9, 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Centre culturel Saint-Exupéry in Franconville. A singer whose personal history is charged with emotion, he is known for his distinctive vocal timbre and his qualities as an interpreter. Rooted in soul, he finds in this music values of transmission, sensitivity, warmth and the tales of ordinary life. His voice recalls a few spicy inflections of Otis Redding or Lee Fields, and on a calmer register Ben Harper comes to mind for the listener. His universe is also marked by the reggae that shaped him: The Gladiators and their bassist Clinton Fearon, Patrice, Toots and Ken Boothe, whose voice and soulful spirit are reflected in his vocal formation.
