Thylacine

Thylacine, aka William Rezé, continues his work in motion. After the Trans-Siberian, the Andes, the Faroe Islands or a detour to Turkey to tame the bağlama, the Angers-based producer sets off again for Roads Vol. 3. True to his need to break away from studio routines, he spent three months traversing a new continent aboard his 1972 Airstream, converted into a mobile writing studio. Along the changing landscapes he captures atmospheres, lets intuition infuse, and shapes tracks where melodic techno, ambient and downtempo rhythms meet.

On stage, this new chapter becomes an immersive live performance fed by footage shot during his travels, atmospheric textures and a sense of motif inherited from his years playing the saxophone. At Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne on 28 January 2027, Thylacine unfolds these sonic roads like a logbook: patient loops, slow builds, raw material captured on the fly and instruments gathered along the way compose a set conceived to reclaim the momentum of movement, between electronic pulses and memories of journeys.
