Les Abattoirs present: La Sécurité and Rien Faire on November 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM. La Sécurité (Montréal/Tiohtià:ke) is an art-punk collective that combines in equal parts bouncy rhythms, a jagged harmonic spectrum, and minimalist melodic phrasing, all run through an insomniac filter—the result of overexposure to the neon lights of the Quebec metropolis. Their music, at ease when it erupts on a dance floor, invites you to live dangerously. The lyrics echo the riot grrrl movement and celebrate, among other things, women’s empowerment, friends (both kind and not-so-kind), and benevolence.
