Quatuor Debussy. The Hungarian Dances.
A breath from Central Europe sweeps across the stage. Carried by a violinist’s bow, this concert presents a programme of dances. Here, everything is movement, energy, passion.
From Johannes Brahms’s "Hungarian Dances" and Béla Bartók’s Romanian dances to Pablo de Sarasate’s Bohemian airs, from Vittorio Monti’s "Czardas" to Slavic choruses, this programme revisits works in arrangements for strings and voices. Between Romani influences and Slavic lyricism, the strings engage in dialogue with the voices to create vibrant music. The concert takes place on 9 January 2027 at 7:30 PM at Le Radiant - Bellevue.
