Ben Plg

On February 4, 2027 at l’Antipode in Rennes, BEN plg arrives with rap rooted in reality, nourished by the North where he grew up. Born in Villeneuve-d’Ascq in 1992 and having spent time in Tourcoing, he has been developing since 2012 a direct and precise lyricism that moves between street rap, introspection, hardcore moments and subtle melodies. Initially known as Ben l’Oncle Rap, he shortened his name to BEN plg, a nod to his 2019 project Pour la gloire, a milestone in a discography built step by step.

On stage, he runs through his key projects, from Saucisses Merguez and the EP Couilles de Loup to his albums Dans nos yeux (2020) and Parcours accidenté (2021). The year 2022 introduced him to a wider audience with Nouvelle École, the track Mauvaise nouvelle and the EP series Réalité Rap Musique. He then followed with J’rêve mieux qu’avant (2023), Dire je t’aime (2024) and Paraît que les miracles n’existent pas (2025), each project further refining his social perspective and personal narratives.

Seasoned by opening slots and the independent rap circuit, BEN plg moves from everyday chronicles to more melodic pieces, supported by cross collaborations with Bekar, Georgio, Niro and Zed Yun Pavarotti. Rennes will be treated to this raw, clear-eyed mix, crafted for the stage.
