Anthony Kavanagh « Jet Lag »

On April 15, 2027, at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris, Anthony Kavanagh presents Jet Lag. The Québécois comedian returns to the stage in stand-up mode, with a fluid delivery that shifts from storytelling to improvisation. Jet Lag explores the mismatches that mark his daily life between Montreal and Paris: culture, language, rhythms and ways of living. Kavanagh observes our modern reflexes, relationships, and the small communication slip-ups, and pokes fun at them without going overboard.

On stage he mixes observation, vocal play, impressions and musical interludes in a simple, direct format. Trained in the Québécois stand-up tradition, he hones his timing and sense of showmanship while keeping his material grounded in lived experience. A microphone, a presence, stories of journeys and borders: Jet Lag focuses on the gray areas and travel-driven misunderstandings between two cultures. It’s a dive into his favorite playground, where we wobble a little but everything is told with clarity.
