At 29, Piche has established herself as a singular figure on the French music scene. Behind this stage name, Mike claims a hybrid identity that defies labels: “a singer who does drag, not a drag who sings.” This distinction sums up her artistic ambition as well as her free relationship to genres. She composes her music with her brother, blending their heritages and differences to create an inclusive, incisive sound.

Originally from southern France and of Algerian and Romani descent, Piche has built a career at the intersection of disciplines. Dancer, choreographer, performer, singer and rapper, she approaches each medium as a piece of the same puzzle, aiming to give her art an all-encompassing dimension. Her approach, instinctive and direct, leads her to challenge conventions both on stage and in public space. She reached the album charts with the EP Festin, performed at the Printemps de Bourges festival, and represented French drag at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Brought to wider attention by her appearances on Drag Race France, Piche deploys a strong sense of spectacle and a well-defined universe. In 2023 her debut single “Confess” reached one million streams and appeared on several platform charts. In 2025, as a finalist in the first All Stars edition, she fused camp, pop culture, rap and social engagement.

Also in 2025, the documentary L’Absent, dans le cœur de Piche, broadcast on France Télévisions, traced her creative process and family journey. Her song “Carré” amassed more than 2 million streams and 600,000 views in four months. Whether in drag or not, Piche plays with the codes of masculinity and femininity, often with humor and boldness. Rejecting barriers, she embodies a generation that claims inclusivity and self-expression as political acts.
