Born in Japan and based in Amsterdam, Wata Igarashi returns to Blitz. His records, released on labels like Midgar, The Bunker NY, Semantica and Dekmantel, demonstrate a crystalline, slow-burn type psychedelia.
He’s joined by resident Polygonia, who founded her own label QEONE in 2022 as a home for deep, textural electronic music that resists easy categorisation. It can be read as an extension of her own practice, with intricate rhythms, complex sound design and a wide emotional range. The two selectors have collaborated on an EP called Cross Passage, released on Reclaim Your City in 2025.
