Gauchito Club

Gauchito Club arrives at Dabadaba on August 6, 2026, in Donostia / San Sebastián, with their blend dubbed “indie tropical”: a crossroads of cumbia, rock, funk, reggae, hip hop and electronic flashes, which at times opens up to bolero, salsa or tango. Born in Mendoza, they craft songs with clear choruses and accessible lyrics—stories of friendship, love, partying and neighborhood life told without grandiosity. Live, the band drives a danceable pulse and rich melodic color with a choral quality that invites singing and movement while remaining natural.

The repertoire draws on their albums Guandanara (2018) and El camino de la libertad (2021), and on a streak of collaborations with Bandalos Chinos, El Kuelgue and Muerdo, in keeping with their taste for blending popular rhythms and pop formats. After their first tour of Spain in 2024—with sold-out shows in Madrid and Barcelona and dates in Valencia, Málaga and other cities—their return comes with more experience. On stage they present a set that alternates tropical grooves and rock edge, straightforward lyrics that hit on first listen, and a close, communal atmosphere meant to be shared chorus by chorus without artifice.
