Jamie McIntyre

Jamie McIntyre lands in Glasgow on 18 October 2026 for a night at Òran Mór. The Galway songwriter moves between contemporary folk and acoustic pop, with story-led writing, direct melodies and a steady pull toward home. Since the 2024 single Over Galway Town, he has broadened his reach: opening for Gavin James in Paris via the Three’s City Stages initiative, appearing at Electric Picnic, then supporting Jamie Webster at Dublin’s 3Olympia and Belfast’s Telegraph Building, and collaborating with Imelda May. In 2025 he took those songs on a first tour across Ireland and the UK, including Glasgow, shaping a set that keeps arrangements spare and the delivery upfront.

On stage, McIntyre leans on voice and guitar. Melbourne and Outside the City trace travel, distance and return; Over Galway Town ties it back to the streets that shaped him.
