Melbourne’s Folk Bitch Trio bring their stripped‑back indie folk/rock to Patterns, Brighton, on 6 July 2026. Three voices up front, close-knit harmonies and acoustic-driven arrangements shape a live set where songs move from hushed detail to a measured, guitar-led pulse. Formed in 2020, the trio marked their arrival with Houselights, then a split with Bones and Jones (Friendly Neighbor / If I Was a Man) that introduced them across Australia’s independent circuit. They followed with Analogue and I Heard, then God’s a Different Sword, refining a sober, melodic approach that holds a quiet tension.
In 2025 they signed to Jagjaguwar and released their first album, Now Would Be a Good Time; this date draws from that record alongside earlier singles. On stage, the focus stays on collective songwriting: shared lead vocals, unadorned guitars and harmonies that carry the narrative with a steady edge. Special guests will open.
