Info

Combichrist and XPQ-21 take Sala Nazca in Madrid on December 5, 2026, in a double bill that crosses EBM, dark electro and industrial metal. Fronting Combichrist is Andy LaPlegua, who launched the project in the early 2000s as a rawer offshoot of Icon of Coil. Over the years, their sound has moved from aggrotech and electro‑industrial toward a mix of club‑oriented beats, heavy guitars and a distorted vocal. Live, the lineup emphasizes the percussive pulse and energy of tracks that have marked their trajectory—from “The Joy of Gunz” and “Everybody Hates You” to “One Fire”—with forays such as “No Redemption,” created for the DmC universe.

From Germany, XPQ-21 arrives led by Jeyênne with a proposal that combines old‑school EBM, dark electronics and rock touches. Founded in 1998, the project established its identity with records like Destroy to Create and Belle Epoque, and in recent years has returned to the forefront with singles such as “Machines,” “Temptation” and “Where Minds Collide.” On stage, XPQ-21 crafts direct synth lines, driving rhythms and melodies that seek movement without losing their industrial edge.

A night that brings together two trajectories of European dark electronics, sharing the stage in Madrid.
