Elderbrook DJ Set

Elderbrook brings his DJ set to Cabana in Toronto on July 26, 2026. London-born Alexander Kotz first cut his teeth in indie and folk before pivoting to electronic production in the mid-2010s. Early EPs Simmer Down and Travel Slow sketched a profile between melodic house, UK garage, supple techno and pop-leaning songwriting. How Many Times drew attention at home, and collaborations widened the circle: Gorgon City, a string of remixes, then Cola with CamelPhat, which earned a Grammy nomination in the dance category.

Since then he has kept one foot in songcraft and one in the club, working with Rudimental on Something About You, Bob Moses on Inner Light and Diplo, while shaping albums Why Do We Shake in the Cold? (2020), Little Love (2023) and Another Touch (2024). Behind the decks, his sets favor fluid transitions, warm low-end and airy synth textures, threading soulful vocal edits through percussive house and UK-flavored rhythms. The result moves from intimate hooks to late-night momentum, carrying the human touch of his studio work into a club context.
