PJ Morton

PJ Morton brings his full band to Gretchen, Berlin, on 13 October 2026. A New Orleans singer, songwriter and keyboard player, he moves between R&B, soul, gospel and funk, shaped by early years in church and by the musical tradition of his city. With twenty-two Grammy nominations and six wins, his path balances solo releases and a long-running role with Maroon 5.

On stage, Morton leads from the keys with a supple voice, tight harmonies and arrangements that keep the groove upfront. Expect songs pulled from Emotions and Perfect Song through Following My First Mind and New Orleans, and later albums like Gumbo, Paul, Gospel According to PJ and Watch the Sun. The full band setting lets him stretch without losing focus on melody, trading lines, opening space for call-and-response and the warm, organic textures that run through his catalogue.
