Defined by Brian's clear tenor, Stornoway's songs are melodic, but the songs are just the start. This is a band that runs on curiosity. Producing their own records, they take a tailored approach to each track. With a wide range of instrumentation and a focus on the creative process, every song is given a carefully considered place, musically and geographically, with recording locations including campervans, wind-buffeted barns, chapels and community centres. Stornoway will perform at Chalk on 25 October 2026 at 7:00 pm.
