Panchiko play the Roundhouse, London, on 24 October 2026. Formed in Nottingham at the end of the 1990s, the trio shaped an indie rock blurred with dream pop, shoegaze and lo-fi textures, first heard on scarce CD-Rs: the EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L (2000) and Kicking Cars (2001). After an early hiatus, those recordings resurfaced years later via online sharing, prompting reissues and a return to the stage. Back on the road in the 2020s across the UK, Europe and North America, Panchiko rebuilt a live identity that connects their early material with new songs. Their 2023 album Failed at Math(s) extends the hazy guitars, discreet electronics and low-key, melancholic vocals of the beginnings, with arrangements designed for the stage and a repertoire better framed for a full-room sound.
