Info
On 18 October 2026 at The Prince Albert in Brighton, Kacy & Clayton bring their quietly magnetic folk to the stage. Second cousins from rural Saskatchewan, Kacy Anderson and Clayton Linthicum grew up playing together at family gatherings, shaping a sound that threads British folk rock, classic American country, traditional ballads and a touch of sun-faded psychedelia. Their music leans on Kacy’s clear, unhurried voice and Clayton’s deft guitar lines, built for intimate rooms and close listening.
Since early releases like The Day Is Past & Gone, the duo has traced a steady path, recording two albums with Jeff Tweedy and sharing a full-length with Marlon Williams. They’ve toured across North America and Europe, opening for Wilco, Richard Thompson, Colter Wall, The Sadies, Ray LaMontagne and The Decemberists, refining a live approach where harmonies and guitar figures do the talking.
Onstage, Kacy & Clayton move between traditionals and original songs, letting melody and narrative lead. Expect earthy ballads, spare arrangements and that close-knit dialogue between voice and strings—their hallmark since the beginning—carried from the Canadian prairies to Brighton for one night at The Prince Albert.
