Dead Pioneers emerged as an extension of Gregg Deal’s performance art, blending music with critical social commentary. The band's sound addresses the complexities of Indigenous experience. Harnessing the energy of punk to challenge prevailing narratives and evoke emotion, they engage the audience in a dialogue about survival, resilience and reclamation of voice.
Petrol Girls are a post-hardcore band. Their fast-paced, chaotic punk carries a political edge, as demonstrated on their 2022 full-length, Baby.
