This Will Destroy You brings an instrumental set that moves between hushed ambient drift and dense, overdriven waves. Formed in Texas by guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, the band marked its path with the Young Mountain EP before shaping a vocabulary of long builds, sharp dynamics and near-total absence of vocals on albums like This Will Destroy You, Tunnel Blanket and Another Language. On stage, they stretch motifs until they fracture, then let feedback and low-end weight carry the release — post-rock shaded by drone, doomgaze and a measured sense of space.
Their live sets often trace their catalogue, from the patient glow of Young Mountain to the darker undertow of Tunnel Blanket, through the layered melodies of Another Language and the paired chapters New Others. Heard on screens as much as in venues, their pieces unfold with a cinematic pull: themes rise slowly, crest and recede, leaving room for silence and afterglow.
