Reinhardt Buhr

At the age of 19, a friend’s newfound passion for the guitar spurred Reinhardt Buhr to pursue it himself. He discovered the flamenco guitar a year later and soon played his first local gig. He formed a band that toured across the country in a short time.

Reinhardt started by playing guitar, then added various instruments to his live set, including electric cello, didgeridoo, piano, drums, hang drum, shofar, electric saxophone, and more. However, his rise in the music scene coincided with a period of substance abuse, leaving him disconnected from himself and from his surroundings. After reaching a low point, he turned to God for help. In 2016, Reinhardt and his wife experienced a spiritual awakening that marked the beginning of their healing. He shifted from seeking fame and fortune to dedicating his music to playing for God as a result of this change. This change redefined his purpose as a musician. He will perform on 25 May 2026 at 6:30 pm at Hare & Hounds.
