On December 18, 2026, at Casa Capitão in Lisbon, Ão presents Malandra live. The Belgian quartet — Brenda Corijn (vocals), Siebe Chau (guitar), Jolan Decaestecker (electronics) and Bert Peyffers (percussion) — blends electronic music, art pop, the Portuguese notion of saudade and an alternative rock with Latin DNA, in a language without labels. With Mozambican and Portuguese roots, Brenda sings in Portuguese and English, her warm timbre meeting Siebe’s luminous guitar, Jolan’s electronic layers and Bert’s plural, percussive pulse.

On stage, Ão moves from fragile, intimate melodies to more danceable rhythms, leaving room for arrangements that set references in dialogue with the present.
