Friday, 3 July 2026, Essaim / Main Room in Paris’s 10th arrondissement hosts Tribalism with Freddy K and Hemka. A night centered on the dancefloor and techno textures, at 14 rue Philippe‑de‑Girard.
Since the early 1990s, Freddy K has been carving out his path between Rome and Berlin. First noticed through his maxi releases on ACV and his radio show Virus, he established himself behind the decks with an extended approach to mixing, attentive to flow and intensity. His sets get straight to the point: fast tempos, repetitive motifs and a selection that links 90s classics with current releases in a dark, linear and functional register. Founder of Key Vinyl, he defends a club-oriented vision that leaves space for emerging producers, and regularly plays at institutions such as Berghain and Tresor.
Alongside him, Hemka, a French DJ based in Paris, delivers a sharp reading of techno. Her sense of rhythm and tension complements Freddy K’s efficiency, creating a dialogue between heritage and the present that will find its full meaning at Essaim on 3 July.
