JeanJass

JeanJass takes the stage at the 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence on 20 February 2027. A rapper and beatmaker from Charleroi, first noticed as part of the duo Caballero & JeanJass, he moves forward as a solo artist with Les champs de sacs plastique, a project that combines heritage and new directions, balancing an intimate perspective with sonic exploration.

On stage, this solo project emphasizes more personal songwriting and productions co-signed with eclectic collaborators such as Chilly Gonzales, H JeuneCrack, Dee Eye, Mike Shabb, Agusta and Karma Bangers. The set navigates soul, boom bap and jazz, crosses North African colors and airy textures, with particular care given to arrangements and atmospheres. Between muted samples, boom-bap drums and jazzy harmonies, the concert highlights his deep voice and finely etched lines in service of a more inward-looking narrative. JeanJass unfolds his new tracks and revisits his repertoire in solo mode, achieving a controlled balance between introspection and rap energy.
