Francis of Delirium (LU)

Francis of Delirium, the Canadian-American duo based in Luxembourg, brings an indie rock set to Vega in Copenhagen on September 8, 2026. Led by songwriter and guitarist Jana Bahrich alongside producer Chris Hewett, the project writes in English and moves between angular guitars, melodic tension and quieter, dreamlike passages. Emerging around 2020, Francis of Delirium has shaped direct, introspective songs where a discreet pop instinct sits under a rawer energy.

The show draws on Lighthouse, the debut album released in 2024, as well as the EPs Wading (2021) and The Funhouse (2022). Songs like Real Love, First Touch, Blue Tuesday and Give It Back to Me map the band’s terrain: short, tightly built pieces that open up live, balancing nerve and vulnerability. Two tracks from Lighthouse were produced with Catherine Marks, a clue to a taste for clarity in the mix without smoothing the edges.

On tour, Francis of Delirium has crossed European venues and festivals, sharing bills with The 1975, Soccer Mommy, Horsegirl and Kings of Leon. On Vega’s stage, the music shifts from indie rock grit toward airier dream-pop shades, with an emphasis on concise writing and dynamics.
