Pa Sheehy

Pa Sheehy brings his solo project to O2 Academy Islington in London on 9 December 2026. The Irish singer-songwriter from Dingle first made his name as the voice of Walking on Cars, touring widely before the band split in 2020. Stepping out under his own name, he’s carved a path that puts songwriting and vocals at the centre, with a lean indie pop sound and a focus on clear, uncluttered melodies.

Since 2021, Pa Sheehy has sketched the outline of this new chapter with the singles Saw You at a Funeral and Róisín, then the debut EP The Art of Disappearing. In October 2024, he released his first album, Maybe It Was All For This, a record that gathers that solo direction into a cohesive set of songs. On stage, he draws across these releases, moving from hushed, intimate pieces to more direct, rhythmic tracks. The show leans on storytelling, tight arrangements and a voice-forward delivery that reshapes the melodic instincts of his early years into something more personal and immediate.
