Elder « North American Tour 2026 »

Elder land in Toronto on September 30, 2026 at The Opera House, bringing their expansive heavy psych and long-form songwriting to the stage. Formed in Massachusetts in 2006 by guitarist-vocalist Nick DiSalvo, the band first made its mark in stoner doom before steering toward more melodic, progressive terrain. Their music moves in wide arcs: thick riffs and low-end weight, shifting tempos, guitars that braid with keyboards, passages that breathe and then tighten.

From the self-titled debut and Dead Roots Stirring through Lore and Reflections of a Floating World, Elder have widened the frame without losing the rumble. Omens and Innate Passage pushed that evolution further, sharpening dynamics and texture. Live, the Berlin-based quartet — DiSalvo, Jack Donovan on bass, Mike Risberg on guitar and keys, and Georg Edert on drums — opens up the material, letting themes evolve rather than racing to the finish.
