On stage, they move between early lo‑fi cuts and later, more expansive writing, drawing from Something About Airplanes, We Have the Facts and We’re Voting Yes, The Photo Album, Transatlanticism, Plans, Narrow Stairs, Codes and Keys, Kintsugi, Thank You for Today and Asphalt Meadows. Influences from The Smiths and The Cure to Sunny Day Real Estate, Elliott Smith, Modest Mouse and Built to Spill are there in the fabric, serving songs that favor detail, dynamics and clear melodies.
Opening the night, Pool Kids bring a math‑tinged emo and indie rock blend from Tallahassee. Led by singer‑guitarist Christine Goodwyne with Caden Clinton, Andy Anaya and Nicolette Alvarez, the quartet balances angular riffs and cut‑up rhythms with clean vocal lines.
