White Denim

White Denim play MOTH Club in London on 7 September 2026. Born in Austin in 2006, the band carved out a restless sound that folds garage rock, psychedelia, blues grit, soul inflections and jazz‑fusion twists into sharp, quick-change songs. Fronted by singer-guitarist James Petralli, with a lineup that has evolved around him, they treat the stage like a lab: grooves turn on a dime, riffs fracture and reform, and structures stretch without losing momentum.

Live, the set tends to range wide across their catalogue, from the nervy rush of Workout Holiday and Fits to the expansive turns of D and Corsicana Lemonade, through Stiff, Performance and Side Effects, and into the more recent World as a Waiting Room, the Raze Regal collaboration and 12. Expect wiry guitars locked to elastic basslines, quick-footed drums and melodies that cut through the swirl. In the close quarters of MOTH Club, that push and pull between precision and drift should come into focus, with songs opened up just enough to keep each moment fresh.
