Info
Five Finger Death Punch land at AO Arena, Manchester, on 16 January 2027 with a set built on thick riffs, melodic hooks and straight-ahead rhythms. Formed in Las Vegas in the mid-2000s around guitarist Zoltan Bathory and drummer Jeremy Spencer, the band found its centre with Ivan Moody’s voice. Their catalog mixes heavy, groove and hard rock shades, with lyrics touching on anger, trauma and social tension, from The Way of the Fist through F8 and AfterLife.
Lamb of God join from Richmond, Virginia, rooted in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Led by Randy Blythe, with Mark Morton and Willie Adler on guitars and John Campbell on bass, they push a groove metal framework sharpened by thrash edges: syncopated riffs, weighty patterns, shouted vocals. From New American Gospel and As the Palaces Burn to their recent Omens, they’ve refined a direct, propulsive approach, now driven by drummer Art Cruz.
Opening, Glasgow’s Bleed From Within bring a British take on modern metal, blending metalcore, groove and melodic death influences. From early, raw beginnings to the more sculpted guitars and atmospheres of Era, Fracture and Shrine, they balance speed, dense textures and sharp dynamics. Three visions of contemporary metal on one Manchester stage.
